Apposite plans to launch iPhone & iPod Touch Application Development Services. Having past experience in building using Cocoa/Objective-C/Mac software since last few years, iPhone SDK apps are a natural progression for our engineers. We are investing heavily in iPhone SDK development expertise through our partnership with Apple.

Apposite receives Commonwealth of Virginia SwaM Certification.

Apposite is pleased to announce that the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise has certified AMTIS, Inc. under the state's Small, Women- and Minority-owned Businesses (SWaM) procurement initiative. This certification is valid for three years. The SWaM Procurement Initiative was established to enhance business opportunities for SWaM businesses and to ensure a level playing field for all small businesses in the Commonwealth of Virginia. On August 10, 2006, Governor Timothy Kaine signed Executive Order No. 33 (2006) focusing on enhancing business opportunities for SWaM businesses. Governor Kaine set forth a 40% goal of purchases from SWaMs for the Commonwealth and established a Small Business Set-Aside Program, as well as several other initiatives for state agencies and departments to enhance SWaM participation in procurement activities.

JUN 2008

Apposite Solutions to setup a free educational cyber camp for middle and high school children to introduce them to website building using basic languages such as HTML and photoshop and other wyswig tools. A grand prize of an iPod will be given to the best designer. This camp will help divert attention from the gaming and chatting on internet and inculcate entrpreunal sence in kids from early days.

MAY 2008

Apposite Solutions to work with a local Virginia based startup called SIBDU to build their commercial real-estate portal. More information to be released after the launch (which is planned for late 2008)

OCT 2007

Apposite Solutions to work AIS INFOTECH to build their 8A Made Easy product suite which will help companies achieve 8A certifications in a seamless manner. 8A Made Easy will be part of the software distributed by AIS analysts to guide customers through the certification process of becoming 8A certified. It will be built using rich interface using Ruby on Rails technology.

Solutions will be designed to meet Maiteks’s specific needs while optimizing technology and maximizing efficiency.
